Warming Winter Bath Salts

  • 1 cup Epsom
  • 1 cup baking soda
  • 30 drops sandalwood oil
  • 10 drops sweet orange oil
  • 5 drops ginger oil
  • 3 drops patchouli oil
Mix ingredients well.Add 4 T of bath salts to the bath water.  This blend of oils makes a body and soul warming blend for cold winter nights.


Energizing Aromatherapy bath

  • 5 drops lavender essential oil
  • 2 drops rosemary oil
  • 2 drops peppermint oil
  • 1 drop basil oil
  • 1 T powdered milk
Mix ingredients together and add to the bath after the tub has filled.  Agitate the water vigorously.


Restorative Bath Salts

The aroma of these salts helps restore a sense of balance.  Especially good for you in the hectic holiday season.

  • 1/2 cup Epsom salts
  • 1/2 cup sea salt
  • 1 cup baking soda
  • 15 drops frankincense oil
  • 15 drops lavender oil
  • 10 drops bergamot oil1
  • 0 drops rose geranium oil

Combine all items together add 4 Tablespoons to bath water.

Lemon Basil Facial Mask
  • handful of lemon basil leaves
  • 1/2 of an avocado
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. honey

Pulverize the fresh new lemon basil leaves (you can substitute regular basil if you do not have lemon basil.) in a blender or food processor. Peel the avocado and mash. Add avocado to basil in blender, along with lemon juice and honey.  Blend until smooth.

Smear this mixture all over your face, don't get too close to your eyes.  Then leave on 15 to 30 minutes or as long as you want.  Rinse off with lukewarm water.  Follow with a moisturizer.
